how do you move up ranks?

I am not sure how to move up a rank I was a beginner the one I was just randomly advanced? What made me rank up so that I can keep doing it?

It slowly does over time.Adding photos, patterns, variations, to dos, and commenting all help speed the process up |

is it an algorithm that levels people up or is it mods? my old account had my dead name and i was advanced over there, is there any way to speedup my ranking process?
