How do I make any patterns

Giraffe23 Professional	3 years, 3 months ago by Giraffe23 Anytime I try to make patterns it says You did NOT agree with our terms and conditions. You'll have to tick the checkbox down on this page to continue. You have to fill in the 'keywords' field in order to submit a pattern. Then I scroll down to the bottom of the page, and there is no checkbox.
KrazyKnotz Super Moderator	3 years, 3 months ago by KrazyKnotz It is not at the bottom of the page. 'Keywords' are under the big box that has the pattern's code (the 'Knots' section) The check box is under the 'Review notes'.

There you click "create patterns" in the drop-down menu that drops down when you click on your name on the upper right on a phone or just hover over it on a computer. halokiwi Moderator	3 years, 3 months ago by halokiwi It's not possible to see other people's patterns that are not submitted or in review @Maggie2021 Just try to describe your issue. Is there a warning on top (a green, yellow or red box)? If yes, what does it say? Maggie2021 Advanced	3 years, 3 months ago by Maggie2021 There are 2 warnings on the top, and they say You have to have at least 5 keywords, and This pattern already exists as #1, but can be added as its variation.
halokiwi Moderator	3 years, 3 months ago by halokiwi @Maggie2021 When you click "new pattern" the generator always opens pattern #1 because that is the most basic pattern. You can now either add a variation by just changing the colours of the strings or you could make a new pattern of your own by changing the knots. If you want to design a new pattern I recommend using the interactive normal generator because it's more intuitive. I recommend just playing around with it and soon you will get the hang of it. The other warning just tells you that you need to add at least five keywords. You can do that in the keywords box. Keywords are separated by gaps. Keywords need to describe the pattern so it can be found. KrazyKnotz has written a tutorial on keywords https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/155_tips-for-choosing-good-keywords/

halokiwi Moderator	3 years, 3 months ago by halokiwi @kestralUSA you need to be on the website, not the app. On a phone click your name on the top right on a computer hover over it. Click "create patterns" in the drop down menu. Click "new pattern" next to "normal patterns" or next to "alpha patterns" depending on which pattern you want to make. Do you have a specific question? I recommend to also read the previous replies in this thread because they already answer lots of the most common questions.
