do you guys have any good websites that convert images into pixel art? I'm using one at the moment and I don't think its the best.

You can use "alpha from image" in the alpha pattern generator on this site but you will have to tweak the pattern afterwards. I have written a tutorial on how you can do this https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/120_making-better-outlines-for-alpha-patterns/There's also this tutorial https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/74_how-to-tweak-patterns/ No image to pixel art converter is perfect because there are always parts where a human would make different decisions than an algorithm and with pixel art every pixel matters because of the limitations that come with pixel art so there are a lot of points where an algorithm might not work as well as a human would. |
