Why is white string harder to find?

Possibly because it’s one of the basic colours almost everyone will need a lot of for most projects (whether knotting bracelets or cross stitching). You might find it easier to get them online (e.g. Amazon, Ali Expeess, etc.)

Yeah, similar to what others mentioned, blacks ne white are probably the most common bracelet colors, so you find yourself going through a lot. I bought a big bag of each from Michaels (loops & threads brand of course) way back at the beginning of the pandemic (so almost 2 years ago) and still haven’t gone through probably half of them yet. Still, I’m much more comfortable having it as base strings or background colors and going through full skeins in a project because I know I still have plenty. It’s an investment I’d suggest, the packs were reasonably cheap (only a few dollars each)
