Hi! I'm Anna and i'm from Italy! 😊 I really want to make this bracelet #72756 of the demisexual flag for my best friend, it's a birthday gift 😊 It's my first time making friendship bracelets so I really need your help! Her wrist measures 6 inches more or less and I also want to start the bracelet with the straight edge botton loop. Hey Anna!I usually make my bracelets 12 cm (4.7 inches - 5 inches) and I use 1 meter (+- 40 inches) of string usually (if it is a thicker bracelet I will go to 1.1 meters or 1.2 meters (43-47 inches)). Do you want to make your bracelet 6 inches? Then I would suggest looking at a string of 1.2 meters (47 inches). It isn't a very thick one, so I would think this would be enough. Mind you, for a loop you need to double the length (12 strings of 47 inches without loop = 6 strings of 47x2 inches with loop). In the case of this pattern, with loop: - 1 purple of 94 inches (2.4 meters) -1 grey of 94 inches (2.4 meters) - 3 black of 94 inches (2.4 meters) -1 white of 94 inches (2.4 meters) IMPORTANT: add some extra length to the color you want the loop to be. I usually add 6 inches (15 cm) to it. Good luck and have fun knotting! It is a lovely pattern 😊 |
