Getting people to join your challenge can be difficult at times to say the least, but my advice would be to create a challenge that is unique, and that not a lot of people are doing, because if you do a very common challenge like i pick from your to-do's or very broad challenges like fall challenge, not as many people will join because there are a lot of other options to choose from. Also making your prizes unique, a really good prize that you can do that not many people do is making a custom pattern for the winners. Also just make it enjoyable for them, give them little anecdotes and reminders and just do things that you wish people hosting challenges would do for you. Not everyone likes to do challenges but for the people that do, make the title interesting and maybe have a prize such as “I will rate 5 or your patterns 5 stars”. It could also be a personal challenge because some people find it intimidating to compete against others.
