I guess you can say alpha is better for making images on a bracket, it only consists of forward and backward knots. It can take quite a while to make alphas depending on your pattern but they are still fun to make! Normal is basically just geometric patterns with forward, backward, backward forward, and forward backward knots. Normal bracelets give you really cool designs! They also dont take as long and is easier to do if you know segment knotting. It’s mostly you’re preference but I think both bracelets are winners!

Alphas are made going forward and backwards in a straight horizontal line. Normal bracelets are made diagonally. Hope this helps 😊
