So I want to make #78720. I had decided to not make a different pattern, but the threads I had ready are perfect for this pattern. Problem is I have 2 blue and 2 gray on each side instead of 4 of one color. Should I just move them in place and start or will it look weird? Or is there another way I can get them where they should be?

Thanks! I hope this makes sense.

Maybe try another pattern? I mean you could fold the 2 blues/grey but I am afriad it is to short. Do you have any other colors because you can make the greek waves pattern with any colors 🙂

@stilesS58 so I do have 8 strands and 4 of both colors. The problem is that it has a "finished" loop, so it's split in half. Instead of having 4 of blue and 4 of gray it's 2 gray 2 blue on left side and 2 gray and 2 blue on the other, when the pattern wants 4 of blue on left and 4 of gray on the right.

@stilesS58 I ended up doing a FB loop over all of the strands with a blue strand, moved them into place, and started knotting. Worked out pretty ok.
