I'd like to participate in challenges but I don't know where to find them.

You can find them in the "challenges" section of the forum, you just pick one and join, these will be hosted by another user like you, and you won't get any rewards from them. If you mean the official challenges, you can find them there too, they will have the word "official" in the title of the forum topic, the moderators host them weekly and monthly.

In the forum, there are different sections. If you scroll to the bottom, you can see the challenge section!! Click on it to view all the different challenges you can join. Official challenges give you rewards, which are the little stars in the corner of your pfp or you can join a challenge hosted by a user with custom prizes upon winning. Hope this helps!! ❤️
