Making a normal pattern

I've been playing around with the making of normal bracelets for a few days now, and I still don't quite understand how to make them on the site. When ever I make a pattern, a box shows up and says that the strings don't line up, or it changes my order of the colours. I also don't know how to add/ remove bracelet string when creating the pattern, so any help and tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you 😄 xx

There could be a possibility that as you’re creating the pattern you might be getting the strings mixed up? I’m sure that’s not the problem but I haven’t generated one before so I don’t have much info. I can experiment and see what happens to give you some tips unless someone else on here has an idea

Also is does it only say strings don’t line up? Or do they give you a bit more explanation?

It could also be the way you’re adding the knots that the generator thinks it’s an error. I hope some of this helps I’m sorry I wasn’t that helpful I don’t really know how it works

Sorry for replying in so many threads but another thing is to make sure that the colors match the way you want to create a pattern. So if you start with “a” your pattern should end with an “a” colored string. It’s suppose to look like the strings are folded in half
