Correction necessary? If so, how?

I notice that pattern #105332 has seven strings, but it's listed as having eight. Does the system round up, or is this something that can be corrected? If the latter, is there a way to submit a correction?

it’s because it’s an alpha, there are seven base strings, and one leading string

No, there isn't a correction necessary. The generator always counts the base strings plus one extra for the leading string in alphas. I think most people find this irritating in the beginning but you get used to it and learn to work with it. 😄

@braclets77 and @halokiwi, I'd never have guessed that. Thanks for clarifying!

there are many times where i forgot to jot down the number if the pattern i was working on and had to find it using the filters. just a tip to always make notes of the string number and one of the keywords if not the number of the pattern so you can easily get back to the pattern. ( obviously if you either screenshot or print the pattern you wouldnt need to do this)
