It really depends on the size of your keychain and on the thickness of your threads! For me for example: i have a maximum capacity of 17 threads for an alfa keychain on a 1 inch keychain. My thread is thick, i don't use embroidry floss like many others on this website. They can fit more threads on a keychain then i can. So it truly depends on the size and thickness (and a bit of experimenting as to what works best for you. Some people are experts of squizing in more thread somewhere while others prefer the space to knot. See what works best for you and have fun!) |

I usually( my thread is a little thicker) can get up to 16 on a 3/4 in. and 20 on a 1 in. ( I got 22 once on it, but I had to make the knots really tight)
