Does anyone have any tips for winding thread because every time I wrap thread on bobbins it always knots at the end?

what i do is if its originally in a skein then i unravel that then wrap it around a bobbin. that way you can make sure it has no tangles in it while its wrapped around the bobbin

i wrap it around my wrist before wrapping it around the bobbin, but sadly it just gets tangled sometimes. just try to go slowly! if you don't have one, a bobbin winder (I'm not sure what they are called) really helps. they usually come in packages of bobbins if you buy them online, but if you just want to buy one by itself, here is a amazon link i found: https://www.amazon.com/DMC-6104-Bobbin-Winder/dp/B00114LRDI/ref=sr_1_12?crid=1PXFR3E04B5P7&dchild=1&keywords=bobbin+winder+embroidery+floss&qid=1632667794&sprefix=bobbin+winder+em%2Caps%2C433&sr=8-12

@stormii so I have a bobbin winder but it doesn’t fit properly on any of my boxes so it ends up moving. But thanks sm I also wrap it around my wrist but it knots still so I end up unraveling it all then winding it around the bobbins.
