Plz I need help as the topic says, I most of the time get extra long threads and by the end I have lots of left over, I'm not saying want exact but atleast less leftover is wanted

I assume this is about normal patterns?Usually I make each string about 90cm long. A lot of the time, this will be a little long, but better too long than too short. If I see that a colour is used a lot, I will make the string even longer. If a colour does not get used as much or is for example only used for the straight edges, I don't need to make it as long. I know there are people who are able to calculate it and have come up with formulas but I do it based on feeling. If you run out of string, you can add new one btw. It works the same way that a colour switch in an alpha would work. Alex's Innovations has a good video on it in which she explains different methods. |

It always depends on what kind of bracelet you are tying. Which pattern. For example if the bracelet is mostly blue you should take longer blue string etc. I usually take about 100cm for bracelet but you can take more. Better to have more string than too little
