I mean, to be fair, they're both flaring out a bit, but the right side is seriously slanting (though it doesn't show it as well in the pic linked below). I'm right handed if it helps, and normally hold the base string with that hand. And suggestions to help me with my first piece here?https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/751140416560169020/884293160686198804/20210906_141716.jpg Thank you! ❤️ |

loosen up your knot tensions what’s probably happening is that you’re making your knots really tight at the top (i’m guilty of this as well) where i’ll make my knots tighter up top because i’m making sure that it get secure onto whatever i’m making it on. if you loosen them, it helps to keep your bracelet more even.

It also depends of the string, if you use thicker strings you have thicker knots. The best way to do bracelets is using all strings the same size

Usually the problem isn’t that the bottom gets to wide, it’s that the top is to thin. Making loser knots and thicker base strings can help a lot.

Yeah it help a lot to loosen up your knots it take time to find the perfect balance but it’s worth it also once you loosen up your knots us a ruler or scissors or something flat and adjust it make sure everything’s going straight ❤️
