As the forum suggests, I am a newbie. Do any of you have any methods you use frequently to undo the knots in your patterns? How does this vary from regular to alpha (if at all)? Anything appreciated 🙂

I use a needle or safety pin to hook it and pull it back out.

I do the same as @Saphonth, but I find it's a bit easier if you flip the bracelet over and do it from the back.

@Snomicorn i just use a safety pin as well. Just work it under the knot and pull towards you.

I'm a newbie too but I have a great answer for this. Next time you're in Michaels or any craft store, go to the Silhouette and Circuit aisle and pick up a weeding tool. It's just a sharp pointed hook on a handle but I've made a bunch of mistakes so far and it was easier to use than a pin for me. https://www.michaels.com/silhouette-hook/10221275.html

I use a mechanical pencil tip to undo it

I normally just use a pin, but sometimes if I'm making a bracelet in the car or something and I don't have a pin I'll use my earring 😂

I use a needle but you do have to be careful because you could rip your strings into threads, and that sucks.

As I continue my effort to make flatter bracelets, I have slowed my knot-tying pace, which has left my knots looser. And this has made it easier and quicker to undo knots.

And I forgot to say that like others I use a safety pin -- the bigger, the better. I keep a few dangling from the clip of the clipboard I always use for tying bracelets, so they are always handy.

I use a seam ripper which isn't the best idea because I have cut my strings on accident a few times 😂
