I am just beginning to learn here. I have considered giving away keychains or bookmarks, yet I find myself resisting parting with something that took so much attention, time, and effort, and provided the joy of creation along the way. I thought that one way to "hold on" to such a piece is to take a photo and post it to my profile. That way, at least, I have a record of sorts. I wonder if others experience such pangs and how they deal with them.

It’s definitely not easy to give something away that you love, but when I give some my creations away, I try to think of the joy it would bring to the person I’m giving it away to.

first things first, the romeo and juliet quote is absolutely hilarious. honestly made my day. yeah i definitely have that feeling. i made a bookmark for my teacher once but i loved it so much i kept it for myself and just made her a keychain 😂 usually if i’m going to give something away, i will take a picture of the finish product. and i will be (usually) conscious of that what i’m making will be given away. usually i only do gifts for bdays and christmas, i don’t randomly just give them out. it helps bc then in my mind, i don’t have to go gift buying lol. if i know i’m going to give something away, i have the entire project that i can prep myself to give it away. but yes definitely take a picture of them. helps actually a lot bc then u have record of what u did.
