Knots sticking out on alphas🧶

Whenever I make an alpha that has a solid background color with a design in the middle, like my parrot alpha, the knots that make up the center design sort of pop out from the background, so the knots come farther out than the background color. How do I stop it from sticking out?

You can use the flat alpha technique to fix this. MashaKnots has a good video on it 🙂
