So I was looking at some of the measurements on some of the posts, and was wondering if they were in inches or something. For example, pattern 106116. It had 6 colors, 12 strings, but the measurements were unclear: 6/24Please if someone would help me read them correctly, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks! 😊 |

I couldn't find the pattern you listed but for alphas the string should be how long you want the bracelet to be + how long you want the twisted ties. And for normal I usually do one arms length (I actually do 2 arms length and then fold it in half so it's 2 strings)

The dimensions are the amount of knots in a pattern. The pattern you mentioned has max 6 knots per row (a normal pattern with 12 strings alternates between 6 and 5 knots per row) and 24 rows. It does not tell you how much string you need or what the measurements of the finished bracelet are. For alphas dimensions work the same way: one is the amount of knots per row, the other is the amount of rows.
