Slanted knots and alphas

Hello! So today I did my first alpha pattern. It went alright, but I noticed my knots seem sort of slanted? I knew that the pattern would sort of "stretch" when put into bracelet form, but I guess I didn't expect the knots sort of criss-crossing instead of being straight. This makes sense I guess since the forward and backward knots face in different directions, but I wanted to know if it's a mistake / something I need to work on or if this is just now alphas normally work. Basically: With an alpha should my knots be facing straight forward or are they meant to be slanted. Here are some pictures of the pattern in question for reference! Please don't come for me too hard lmao, it's my first time even attempting an alpha! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Ol0fpfmUYnUSRy-Agu1UWpUJ-jwa9aaK?usp=sharing |

This is normal, your knots may be slanted because of the angle that you knot. Not too sure but this has happened to me plenty of times and when I switched the angle that I was knotting it fixed my problem (slanted knots). I hope this helps! btw Cute pictures! ❤️
