so ive seen this straight edge technique for normal bracelets going around (where you add a string to both side so you do bf and fb knots inside of b or f knotes), but how do you start a teardrop loop with your extra string? im assuming you put all the strings (including the outlier) under the loop, but they you have to do the teardrop portion, and i dont want my outlier string to show in the bottom of my tear drop loop. do i just leave it alone, or how do i knot it for the teardrop loop so it stays on the outside edges?

You have to bring it out the first, so when you finish your loop and you have to start the teardrop part, instead of knotting with the string for the pattern in the order you need to do so, you knot with the one you are going to use for the straight edge and then do all the other strings as it says in the patter, do this with both sides, that way it stays at the edge. I hope that makes sense (:
