K. I checked and it was a no. I'll try brightening the black(but not where it is the dark gray I have).
Would Dark green work though?
(Urgh! This image calls for dark colors. *big sigh* 😭 )

That always depends on the colour code. You have to try that out.

Not having too dark colours in a pattern is so that it is easier to read. The same goes for not having too similar colours. You will still be able to knot the pattern in any colours you like and usually you'll be able to get the colours in the patterns to be acceptable with even slight changes 😄

Here is the pattern I've made #102831

I just used the complete image as I wasn't sure where exactly to cut it. I used the steps I have described in my tutorial btw.

Thanks. I'll be sure to use that pattern sometime.
By the way, I managed to submit my pattern, although I had to make the black color gray to do it. 😢
Is there a way to let ppl know this?

Wait... you didn't outline your drawing?
Ugh! Why didn't I think of that? DX

You can let people know in the comments once your pattern is accepted that your dark grey is meant to be a black but I think by now people are used to black being portrayed as a dark grey in most patterns 😄

Is it possible to change an already submitted pattern? Someone made a variation of mine and they have dark outlines on the character. I was thinking of seeing if I could get it like that. 🤔

No, existing patterns cannot be changed. You can just add variations if you just want the colours to be different or make a completely new pattern.
