Hi! I´m doing a tapestry end, i follow like 2 videos and this doesn´t help me. In tis technique you have to have many groups of 4 threads! and since i had two too many, i add one to each side making 5. I did the first row normally. In the second row, i put aside three ( but i don´t now if this is correct, so let me know) and i don´t know (if three was the better option) HOW MANY do I have to remove now, because if I remove 3 it won't work for me. HELP ME PLEASE I´M SO DISGUSTED.

If I’m correct, (I might not be) I’m pretty sure you take out the outermost two strings on each side.

@narellab @hellooooo is correct, when starting a new row take out two strings from each side and continue like normal. Kinsey b has a good video explaining it if this doesn’t make sense.

@narellab try the video @Margaron has on YT. She explained what to do when don’t have enough strings to make even sets of four strings. It helped me.

You would just drop the outer strings. However, with the odd number of strings in each group you’ll have to pay close attention to how you’re splitting your strings each group. To keep your knots the same size you would need to drop the outer edge and be left with 4 for just one group which means you’d only pick up one from the next group and you won’t get the same effect because the knot will pull more to the side the 4 was taken from. You could try and drop two in the edges but ultimately I would recommend trying to find another even number to split your strings by.

@minutcraft @Camo @Margaron In the end, what I did was in the second row I brought out 3 threads and in the third I brought out two and I was bringing out two in all the rest, thanks for your help : )
