I flatten it between two books but it only stays straight for like about three minutes.

if it’s a candy stripe, it’ll always do that, just because of how the knots are structured. other then that, it’s probably because your knots are too tight. you could try ironing the ones you have get them straight but loosening ur knots might help

I’d suggest make sure you’re doing the straight edges technique as that helps so much! Masha knots has a video on YouTube about it, also the flat alpha technique (also one I found out from mashaknots). They both improved my bracelets and made it stop going squint or uneven, also every row take a ruler and push the knots up and push the sides in, I find that helps

It is normally because of the way you knot it, try doing the row by row method or choose a different way to segment knot patterns down the middle instead of diagonally across ❤️

This can happen because of your knots or the placement of knots on the bracelet. To fix this you might need to chose patters that have even amount of knots on each side. If this is because of your knots, just practice making them even. I hope this helps!!

For the ones you’ve already made, spray them a bunch with water, pin them down so they’re flat and straight, then use a hairdryer to dry them out. I use this method for crochet when I need something flat, and I find it works pretty well when I can’t get a bracelet the way I want. The technique is called Blocking if you want to find a tutorial
