Every time I make diamonds the 1st is usually perfect then after the 1st they turn lopsided 🤔

Maybe trying keeping your knots/strings close together while making the diamond

Try to keep your knots uniform on both sides, and you can pull on it after you make it to adjust a bit if necessary
