What can help is to use the flat alpha technique. It helps to make the knots more connected so no knot pops out.

In general for smooth alphas it is important to have a consistent knot tightness and not pull the knots too tight. Consistency will come with practice so it is completely normal if the bracelets look a little uneven in the beginning.

I found out that if you do the first half of knot a little bit looser than the second half, knot will look better hope it helps

I'm a newbie, and just had a backache doing #66612, and it didn't work very well ๐Ÿ™

@lucthao hi hi! i'm the creator of pattern #66612! i will say that it might be pretty difficult for a beginner- here are lots of color switches and due to color switches on the edge, it might be hard to keep the edges straight. don't be discouraged if it didn't turn out the way you want! when i first started doing alphas, i started with ones that had minimal color switches (2-3 colors) and lots of 'dead space' (where there's no color switches, etc.) #38672 is a good one and other beginners have said that #59132 worked well for them as a starter alpha!
i also get backaches, neckaches, etc. while making bracelets, and i've been doing it for a while! taking frequent breaks will help with that- remember that you don't have to get it all done in 1 sitting! <33
if you need anything else i can definitely try to help!!

I saw your picture of the alpha, the first part looks really good! It looks like once you got to the part where thereโ€™s one white knot on each side, you made the string too tight on the back, which caused the design to curl up. MashaKnots has a lot of beginner videos that I think would be really helpful for you to improve your alphas. Youโ€™re doing great, just keep practicing!
