So you have to clip your bracelet as close as possible to the knotting... or can I just clip the top

I personally prefer if where I am currently knotting is close to where the bracelet is attached no matter if I am using tape or a clip board, but I know some people attach the bracelet at the top and leave it like that throughout the process. I think it is preference.

When I start a bracelet, I tape down with I want to start the bracelet. When I start knotting I will add more tape the further down the knots are. (I also do this because the tape losses stickiness)

I start it at the top, but once I knot enough I move the tape onto the bracelet bc I get annoyed when the bracelet moves around at the top while I’m knotting. After that I’ll just leave it
