how i do the double basestrings technique?

heyy, i have a trouble with a rlly thin string wich i want to use for base string. but the normal form doesn't work in this string so, can anyone explain me the double basestring technique? Thanks <3

you just get double the base strings needed (i.e 12 base strings, get 24 of the thin ones) and then arrange them like two are one and then just knot on two strings at a time
