What does ranking up do?

I've just ranked up to the second level, and was told that this would give me new privileges each time I rank up. However I don't notice anything different (to be fair though I haven't explored the site much). Does anyone know the special privileges that come with ranking up or know where on the site I could find a list of them?

Once u have levelled up you can send friend requests submitted more variations and rate patterns lower

When you rank up, you can send friend requests, rate patterns lower, talk in the chat, and upload more variations.

@RangerLane No one can use pure black because it makes it impossible to see the pattern grid. You can use a lighter shade of black like #333333 instead 😊
