So I have watched alot of Alpha pattern videos and I believe I follow them pretty well and learned from them alot but my knots dont look right? With all patterns I see, one row looks like //////////// and the next is \\\\\\\\\ but mine kinda look like x's in a way, I do not really know how to explain it and I dont know if that makes to much sense. I myself have practiced with easy/mediocre patterns and sometimes my finished project looks like the pattern but the knots just dont look like everyone elses/: Can I have some help? I would appreciate it 😅 |

Hi! I tried looking at the photo of the alpha you have on your profile but I can’t really tell where the problem lies. The only thing I can think of that might help is making sure that your knots aren’t too loose and that they’re consistent. Everything comes with practice and experience though, so as long as you keep going at it I’m sure you’ll get the results you’re looking for! |

@Kalyee thank you for responding! I will keep paying attention to how tight I make my knots 👍 |

Try using a ruler to push up your knots. |

If they look like x's that can be a result of doing the knots backwards as well. So if you're going from left to right doing backward knots instead of forward knots. |

Oh yeah for sure, I just looked at the pic of the alpha you posted and that definitely looks like that issue. |
