length of base strings for an alpha + which alpha is best for my first one?

How do you measure your base strings for an alpha? Is there any ratio with rows like x rows = 1 inch or something? For my first alpha, should I do something with multiple colors like #94445 or something with only 2 like #19169 ? I appreciate your feedback! |

Yes, you need a certain length for a certain amount of rows. I'm not sure what that ratio is for me but you can figure out yours once you have made an alpha 🙂In general to start, less colours are better but I think both of the patterns you suggested are good 😄 because they both don't have too many colours and are relatively small |
