I have a color switch on the last stitch of my row and I use the flat alpha technique. It always ends up looking weird since the other color comes out the side of the knot, how do you make it look cleaner?

use the straight edge technique. backward forward knots on the far left string and forward backwards knot on the far right string. brings the color back into the bracelet

I try doing that but it ends up in a weird little loop since I’m trying to make it go in and out of each knot on the end if that makes sense

If you don’t use the flat edge technique on the last knot, the color shouldn’t show. If you need a visual, here’s a video tutorial for the color switches on the edge (she starts going over it at the 3:40 minute mark) https://youtu.be/6FuoAPuwz4k

ohh. i see. yeah what @oceanknot said. if u don’t want to do the straight edge technique, you would put it into the next knot that you make if it’s a diff color. it should keep the ridge and i’ve seen it where it looks good.

On the last colour switch don't use the flat alpha colour switch because it will make the string stick out, instead use the regular colour switch. Using the straight edges technique (bf and fb knots at the edge), can be beneficial as well.
