Hello everybody,

I got a bit of a problem. Today i started making Alpha Paterns bracelets but my Knots are not straight.
It looks like this:

/ / / /
\ \ \ \
/ / / /

In the tutorials i have watched the knots look like this:

| | | |
| | | |

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Try altering the direction in which you pull your strings when tying knots. Usually people tie their forwards and backwards knots to one side instead of straight up for both.

Hi, this is normal, it happens to a lot of people, including me. Usually people who make tutorials have a lot of experience and have practiced a lot so thats why their knots are neater. To fix this problem you can try to make your knots looser and push them up with a ruler after each row, that helps making them straighter and more squarelike.
