How to make bf/fb knots with no gaps?

No matter what I do, I get gaps when I make forward backward or backward forward knots. No matter how tight I make it or how much I finesse the knot I always get at least a tiny gap, but I see people out here making the kinds of patterns with only bf/fb knots in them and they look perfect! So, does anyone have any tips for how I can make the knots with no gaps?

The first part of the knot is positioning it, so make sure you position it really really tightly. Also if they are really that tiny, no one is gonna notice that much. I mean you probably only notice the tiny flaws cuz you made it.

Plus I looked at ur photos and ur one of the wave was like all bf/fb knots and I didn’t notice ANY gaps at all. They looked really really good
