making loops with uneven amount of colors

I prefer to make my bracelets with the loop because I feel like that it makes the starting to not process easier. Some bracelets have certain colors with an uneven amount of string. I don’t know how to make a loop for those. I know it’s possible I’ve seen it be done before. Anyone have anyway I could learn??

you could make the last string (the one that makes it uneven) a whole string, so if it’s 15 strings, and then you add one so it’s 16, then u make the loop and then pull out the extra string when u start the triangle ends

So if you go to the tutorial section, @sandy_kc has a tutorial on how to make a loop with scrap string. So you can cut half on a string and use that one to make the loop with, and then use it in the pattern. Sorry if this does not make sense! (Kinsey b also has a tutorial on it on YouTube).

Or you can just make the loop with that extra string, and then cut it off when it comes time to make the bracelet
