edge color switches

i just learned how to make alphas and i’m decent at simple patterns, but is there a special way to to color switches on the edge? or is it just the same way as the knots in the middle? thanks <3

if you do the straight edge technique, then it solves all that. u do bf on the far left string and fb on the far right string.

If you do the flat alpha technique, you have to do the regular alpha technique to switch on the ends, otherwise the old color will show on the edges

if you use the regular alpha technique, then it’s fine. if there’s any other way you do it, then I’m not sure. both of the techniques I mentioned are by masha knots
