so i’m getting into alphas but i dont know how make anything other than actual bracelets. i think i would like to make bookmarks or keychains, but i have no idea how or what keyclip to use. any ideas of simple things to make other than bracelets? and how do i make keychains or bookmarks? lol thanks

The keychains people use are called 'D-Rings' or sometimes "Lobster Claw Clasps', and you can find them in craft stores or on amazon. All bookmarks and keychains are basically just really wide bracelets, the basics of making them are mostly the same.

bookmarks same thing. people like to put tassels on a loop to make them more bookmark-y

D clips are great or just classic key chain rings. You can get them at Michael’s. If you want you can look through my pics as I have keychains posted.

With bookmarks I just end it with a tassel(forward knot with the leftmost string around the rest of the left half and backward knot around the right half in the same way) then brush them out with a clean comb. This way it has a fancy end to stick out from the bottom of the book. You could also do a looped start and knot in a charm if you wanted to

I think @meesaw tried a shaped pattern with wool and made it into a bookmark the way I did, you should check it out.

I use D rings but you can also make a loop it’s really hard for me to do a loop that’s why i use D rings
