When I make my triangle ends on my alphas with a tear drop loop, sometimes the bracelet or keychain has a odd number of string. For example I wanna make pattern #61108 and It has an equal number of base strings but then I dont know how to include the leading string for the top. Can someone help me? |

i do a backward forward knot with the leading string onto the first base string. u just tape it down and then cut off the tail thing after or smth |

If you make the leading string longer you can line it up with the rest of the base strings, and make a knot onto two strings instead of one. (If the pattern had 20 strings I would make the leading string longer, line up the end with the end of the base strings and use the 20th and 21st as one base string not two.) |

When I need an odd number of base strings, I use the lead string to form the final odd numbered base string as well as use it to start creating the loop. When I reach the end of the loop, i just continue knotting with the lead string to form the triangle start until we have a ‘full row’. |
