I’m making a bracelet but I’m running out or string, how can I add more?

So it’s kinda difficult to explain but if you tape a new cut string down behind the bracelet and just start knitting using that string rather than the original string then you can do it that way but if all the strings are going short you may just have to use it as a letting of some sort
