read from right to left like a book. most patterns dont have outside knots on every OTHER row, that means keep the outside strings out if the bracelet for that row, then put them back (include them) for the next row.... for the kind of knots the straight diagonal lines- the ones pointing down left that means TWO forwards knots, and pointing down right means TWO backwards knots.... the diagonal lines that bend- the ones that have the ends of the arrows to the left that means ONE forwards and then ONE backwards, then oposit for the ends on the right,-------- backwards and forwards knots just mean what kind of 4's to make 👍 👍

@AubryG25 you can look up Masha knots on YouTube! She has the best explanation on making friendship bracelets

@AubryG25 I like Knack for Knots and Masha knots. You can just search on YouTube how to read friendship bracelet patterns or if you want to make a specific pattern

read from right to left. the colors at the top are the order your strings need to be in. ↘️= forward knot ↙️= backward knot ↩️=forward backward knot ↪️= backward forward knot. then there’s the square knot but there’s not an emoji that looks like it. on YouTube there’s a channel called mash’s knots she has a good explanation of the different knots and how to read patterns.
