What to do with bracelets?

What do you guys do with bracelets? I know you can gift them or sell them but what if they don't look very good? Even if they look good I don't ahve anyone I can gift them to and I don't think they are wroth selling what do I do with them in those cases? Do they just sit in a box catching dust? What are your solutions for this?

i put mine in a box, sometimes i wear them depending on how i’m feeling. sometimes i use bracelets i don’t like as a reference for other ones. i.e base string length or thickness of a certain string. but if i don’t think they look great, i don’t wear them. they literally just sit in the box collecting dust

if you have a few that you are not too proud of, I would say keep them as a timeline of your progress. That way, you can look at how far you have gotten with your bracelet making! 😄If you just want to get rid of them, you can try to put it in a drawer and forget about it, throw it out, wear it and be proud of it, or there is the tedious yet useful answer: unknot all of your hard work and use the string to make a better creation. this option takes a WHILE, but I have done it before because I wanted the string and wasn't very fond of the bracelet I made. Another solution could be to give it to a relative because even if it isn't very good, they will most likely like it because it is from you; it won't be about the quality of the bracelet, but more so about the thought of you when looking at it and thinking about it. Take pictures of your progress, remake the same patterns in different variations, and use them as book markers.

I generally keep them sorted in a more complicated way than I could possibly explain right now however I sometimes gives them to friends/family/people I know and I donate them sometimes. You can also use bracelets as bookmarks, sell them, give them to people, keep a collection of them, or use them as decor.

Small children do not care how it looks usually; they just think bracelets are cool. I've given away many a bracelet to a small child.

If you have a ton that you’d rather not wear, you could try to make a secondary object out of them! Such as a drink coaster, a small wall hanging rug thing, or even sew them into a basket or bag!

I give them as gifts, if not I keep them in a box. I really only make a bracelet when it has meaning to me and if I know I’m going to wear it. I wear them to express myself and three make great conversation starters 🙂

Gifting them to small children is a definitely useful move. Otherwise, I’ve used some as attachments to key rings because then right colours make them easier to find in the dark abyss that is the inside of my bag.

I keep mine in a bag and if I have friends or family over, normally they will take a few, and I wear mine sometimes
