I recommend watching videos by Masha knots, because she explains the process really clearly. If you want a fast start, I recommend doing pattern #1 (candystripe) or #2 (chevron). There are many videos on them on YouTube and I am sure there are short videos on them too. They don't need much explaining.Learning to read patterns on the other hand can be a bit time consuming so I would recommend starting out with simpler patterns that are easy to follow without reading the pattern itself and once you have more time you can tackle learning to read patterns 😄 |

Videos are the BEST thing to help you learn. Start off with something simple and also watch videos on the different types of knots. It really helps to choose a simple pattern with each type of knot to practice once you have the basics down

Yeah, I recommend Masha Knots’s youtube tutorial on making a chevron. Once you’ve mastered that, you can consider trying her polka dotted chevron tutorial.

Do a few of the easiest patterns like #1 and #2 , but you probably should watch videos to understand, then watch a video on patterns, then boom, read normal patterns then, watch a video on alphas, and then you’ll know pretty much everything, then eventually you can start using techniques
