i did #26588 as my first wallhanging. i put it on a toothpick. a little bit more complex though because of the color switches, but as my second alpha it wasn’t too horrible. to get your alphas flat, you do the flat alpha technique. i know masha knots has a video on that and probably alex innovations but i’m less sure about the latter. that technique makes your alphas look a lot more bracelet like and gives it less “hills.” for the straight edge technique, masha knots explains it in her flat alpha tutorial. if you’re asking about straight in general, it does take practice but loosening knot tension really helps and i also make sure that my edge knots (i always do straight edge technique) are going down instead of off to the side. hope this helps.

hello!! I haven't done wallhangings yet, but I plan on #94788 to be my first. to get flat alphas, use the flat alpha technique!! Masha Knots has a great video on it and I will link here. she also explains the straight edge technique for alphas, which is basically making backward forward knots on the left side and forward backward knots on the right side of the bracelet instead of just forward or backward knots to create the bumps on the edges of your alphas. hope this helps!! ❤️ - @stasiahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YVFAX9sacw |
