i was making pattern 22524 and i misread the pattern a few time so i’ve messed up the bracelets, but i was wondering if i could like use the string i already have and weave a string over it almost like an alpha until i get to a place in the bracelet to continue the pattern

Depending on how far back you messed up I’d be inclined to say just bite the bullet and untie to your mistake. Otherwise, you could technically carry your string across the back but it may cause your bracelet to look odd for a few rows...
