Why are patterns declined? Are they just declined if they are a copy of another pattern?

Hi! Sometimes patterns are too similar or almost identical to an existing pattern 🙂 with alpha patterns, if the pattern is too simple or easily replicable then that’s also a reason to decline : D and with variations, if colours are too similar and would therefore be hard to tell apart in a pattern then that could be a reason too 🙂

I also recommend reading our guidelines. They include lots of reasons why a pattern might be declined.Before submitting a pattern I also recommend to check out the automated warnings and trying to eliminate them because they can be a reason for the pattern to be declined https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/140_normal-pattern-warnings-and-how-to-fix-them/ If a pattern gets declined, you'll find why it was declined in the decline message |
