At the end of my alpha, on the last few rows the strings sort of just like pulling apart and there are lots of holes and you can see on my photo of #66622

i would say just pull your knots a bit tighter when it looks like theres a hole? it also looks like your colored strings are thicker than your white string so that could be part of the problem

It looks like you might be tying the first half of the knot too loosely. It also looks like as you make a pattern, the rows become kind of U-shaped, which ends up pulling the strings apart and causing the holes you’re talking about. To fix this, you can use a ruler to push up the knots after every row and to check how straight the row is. If you notice that the middle of the row is starting to dip down, you can tie the knots near the sides looser and the knots in the middle tighter until they even out.
