I’ve done like 7 alphas but it’s still takes forever..

It takes abt 9 hours for a alpha with 15-20 strings and a bunch of color switches

A lot of it is just practice. I can do normals speedy quick, but I make way fewer alphas so I'm not nearly as fast. Also, for me at least, alphas are harder to get nice and neat knots, so I spend a lot of time adjusting knots after I've made them.

Yeah, it’s about the same for me. I think the color switches are a problem. If it’s one color except for a small section of lots of colors or a two color alpha I make them a lot quicker
