how do I design a normal bracelet pattern

So I was on the website and went to create patterns and I made an alpha which was pretty easy, (I just colored in the squares) but now I want to make a normal pattern and there is no option to just draw it so I am very confused

Drawing for a normal pattern would be difficult because all the normal patterns rely heavily on the strings above it, and alphas don’t, so the drawing function probably wouldn’t work. You would have to figure out how to make something using the f, b, fb, bf knots

@winni Yes, you have to type in the commands and test it or press the buttons for each one - you really cant just color it because then the strings would be skipping around in the bracelet and being added in and taken out randomly
