i am just starting making alphas and i had a few questions. is the straight edge technique just making bf and fb knots on the sides ? and can you make a normal loop like you do with normal patterns or is it different? |

straight edge technique yes. bf on the left. fb on the right. and you can make a normal loop for alphas. both clairehair and masha knots have tutorials on that.

Yes. Alphas have the same loops as normals, however, the triangle ends on alphas are different than normals. But if you just doing loops then it is the same. Yes. The straight edges on alphas are just bf and fb knots on the edges. Masha knots @Racoon has a tutorial on this topic on her Youtube channel. Hope this answers your questions! Happy knotting! ❤️ |
