I just downloaded this app, what does Alpha patterns mean? What is different from alphas or normal ones?

Hi so basically an alpha pattern is a strings being tide to a row of strings while a normal pattern is strings being tied onto those same strings of the braclet

like if you made a braclet with four strings those four strings would make the pattern as in an alpha you would have four strings and then other strings tying onto those four to make the pattern i hope this helped at least a little bit
